Je trouve que la phrase "Nulle chose de ce nom ne se trouvait là" est un peu trop péremptoire. Même si on a essayé de tout répertorier pour en oublier le moins possible, on risque toujours d'avoir mot qui passe à travers. Et même si le joueur dit "regarder mon corps" ou "regarder le soleil", on aura la même réponse, pour quelque chose qui pourtant se trouvait là.

Pour un jeu que l'on a fait avec ma femme, en anglais, on avait trouvé "That noun did not make sense in this context " (à moins que cela ne soit une valeur par défaut -> j'ai vérifié apparemment c'est la réponse des nouvelles bibl. d'inform).
Même si cela fait un peu technique comme réponse, je trouve que c'est plus adapté au cas général. Il faudrait trouver quelque chose d'équivalent en français, qu'en pensez-vous ?
Par ex. "Ce mot ne donne rien dans ce contexte". Évidemment, il ne faut pas que le joueur puisse imaginer qu'il faut reformuler ou combiner avec un autre objet, mais dans l'esprit si on pouvait trouver quelque chose de similaire ?

Au minimum, il est indispensable qu'on comprenne que "mot" représente le complément de la commande tapée et non le verbe ! C'est pour ça que la réponse en anglais dit "That NOUN..." (c'est-à-dire "nom" et pas "mot").

Mais même ainsi, je ne suis pas sûr que la phrase soit une grande amélioration. Pour reprendre les exemples que tu cites, si le joueur dit "regarder mon corps" ou "regarder le soleil", les mots "corps" ou "soleil" ont un sens dans le contexte, non ?

Nepstad, l'initiateur du projet Lovecraft), et je trouve la réponse par défaut : "je ne connais pas le mot "blabla" " moins choquante dans le cas où on cherche à taper un mot qui est pourtant dans une description. Au moins on se dit : le programme ne reconnaît pas ce mot / n'a pas ce mot d'implémenté, plutôt que d'avoir le très frustrant : "cela n'est pas là, sauf dans la description".

J'ai trouvé (address) pronoun_word quelques lignes plus bas :

"Je ne suis pas certain de ce à quoi ~", (address) pronoun_word, "~ se référait."; (pour VAGUE_PE)

Mais cela ne fonctionne pas avec la ligne pour CANTSEE_PE. (cela remplace par qque chose d'indescription)

Je voudrais pouvoir dire qque chose genre : "Le mot "blabla" ne donnait rien dans ce contexte."

je suis d'accord que la formulation n'est pas idéale, mais si le joueur demande "regarder mon corps" c'est moins choquant que de dire "nulle chose de ce nom se trouvait là."
